My mother taught me to sew, and at a young age, I knew I liked it. I continue to enjoy creating and testing my abilities with new challenges. I have eight years of Bridal Shop experience (1984-1992). In 1993 I started sewing from my in-home studio, and Lo Jo Stitches was started.

My Mission

 Customers will not have to worry about having their dresses done on time or having them done right. Every dress I sew on is a reflection of my work, and it will be done right and timely.

 The Personal Touch

 I will work with you personally from price quotes to your final fitting. All sewing is done solely by myself, that way I'm in complete control of the quality of work my customers receive.

For alterations on Wedding Gowns, please schedule appointment 10 weeks prior to the Wedding date to set up the 1st fitting appointment, for maids, mothers, and flower girls please schedule appointment 6-8 weeks prior. At 1st fitting I'll give you the total cost of your alterations which is due at the 2nd fitting, I accept credit and debit cards. Also, I'll set up another appointment for a 2nd fitting.

Generally, two fittings are required. One, to pin and then to try on and make sure all is well - also to show how to bustle gowns. If your dress needs to be let out, that will automatically require another fitting. I like to have dresses back to customers at least a couple weeks before the wedding.
